Square marketing kit for OrderOut resellers
OrderOut's Square marketing kit gives resellers in OrderOut's Square reseller program the logo files, the Independent Square Reseller badge, and ready-to-use copy and disclosures for landing pages, email, social posts and paid ads.
Nothing here needs OrderOut’s approval before you publish. Two rules apply everywhere: say that you are an independent reseller, and make no income claims.
Describe yourself correctly
Saying you resell Square is accurate. Implying Square appointed you directly is not: your relationship runs through OrderOut’s Square reseller agreement.
You may use
- Square Reseller
- Independent Square Reseller
- Reseller or agent within OrderOut's official Square reseller program
- your own brand alongside the Square logo, with the reseller relationship disclosed
Do not use
- Authorized Square Reseller
- Authorized Reseller — even without the word "Square", if it appears anywhere you are selling Square
- Square Authorized Dealer or Square Authorized Partner
- anything pairing the word "Authorized" with Square
- the Square logo placed alongside an authorization claim
The full reasoning is in the questions at the end of this page.

Independent Square Reseller badge
The badge states the relationship exactly as the program allows it: an independent reseller, powered by OrderOut. Use the horizontal badge at 280160 px. Smaller than that, the "Powered by" line stops being readable.

Square
Square's 2025 logo, unaltered, as Square publishes it. Use it only in black or white, keep clear space around it, and follow Square's brand-asset guidelines.
Brand basics
- OrderOut coral
#FF5A5FReserved for the OrderOut wordmark and mark. Not for body text. - Ink
#0A0A0AHeadlines, and the dark badge background. - White
#FFFFFFPage background, and the light badge.
OrderOut’s marks
- Use the files above as they are. Do not recolor, stretch, outline or add effects.
- Never retype the wordmark in a font. It is hand-lettered.
- Leave clear space around it at least the height of its lowercase letters.
- OrderOut stays secondary to your own brand: “Powered by OrderOut”, never the headline.
Square’s logo
- You may use it in co-branded material, following Square’s brand-asset guidelines.
- Black or white only, unaltered, with clear space on every side.
- Your brand leads. Nothing may suggest you are Square or directly affiliated with it.
- Never next to a claim that Square appointed or approved you (see the do-not-use list above).
Ready-to-use copy
Every line below matches what the program lets you say. Replace anything in [square brackets], and edit freely for your voice as long as you keep the disclosure and add no income or pricing claims.

Paid search ads
Assets for a Google responsive search ad. Google rotates headlines and descriptions independently, so every line has to stand on its own. Pin "Independent Square Reseller" to headline position 1 (or the disclosure description to description position 1) so every combination Google serves says who you are. If you bid on Square-branded search terms, platform trademark rules apply, and your landing page must carry the relationship disclosure.

Questions resellers ask about marketing
What exactly may I and my staff call ourselves when selling Square?
You may use:
- Square Reseller
- Independent Square Reseller
- Reseller or agent within OrderOut's official Square reseller program
- your own brand alongside the Square logo, with the reseller relationship disclosed
Do not use:
- Authorized Square Reseller
- Authorized Reseller — even without the word "Square", if it appears anywhere you are selling Square
- Square Authorized Dealer or Square Authorized Partner
- anything pairing the word "Authorized" with Square
- the Square logo placed alongside an authorization claim
The line is authorization, not description: saying you resell Square is accurate, saying Square authorized you is not — your authorization runs through OrderOut's Square reseller agreement, not directly from Square to you. "Independent" is safe because it leans away from implying Square affiliation; the logo beside an authorization claim leans hardest toward it, so it is worse than either alone.

Do my reseller websites need OrderOut approval before I put them live?
No — there is no OrderOut pre-approval queue for reseller websites. You do not need to submit a site to us and wait before launching.
What governs is Square's brand-asset guidelines, plus one hard rule: nothing may imply you are directly affiliated with Square, or that you are Square.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Does my advertising need to be reviewed, and what are the rules?
There is no OrderOut pre-approval process for advertising — you may market and co-brand. Disclose the reseller relationship, and make no income claims.
One thing worth knowing before you spend: if you bid on Square-branded search terms, platform trademark rules apply.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Can I put Square's logo on my business card and describe myself as a Square reseller?
You may use the Square logo in co-branded material, subject to Square's brand-asset guidelines. What nothing may do is imply that you are directly affiliated with Square, or that you are Square itself — you are reselling Square, you are not Square, and you are not contracted directly with them.
On the wording: a title implying direct Square authorization is out. Frame yourself as a reseller or agent within OrderOut's official Square reseller program, with the relationship disclosed.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Use of Square logo?
Sub-agents may use the Square logo in co-branded material, but are not directly affiliated with Square and must not imply it. Usage remains governed by Square's brand-asset guidelines.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Can we share on social media?
Yes — co-branding is OK and sub-agents may use the Square logo, subject to Square's brand-asset guidelines, but must never imply direct Square affiliation. Value-first, disclose the reseller relationship, no income claims.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Can we market with ads to get new business?
Yes — sub-agents may market/co-brand (Square logo allowed per Square's brand-asset guidelines; no implied direct affiliation). For Square-branded search ads, platform trademark rules apply — OrderOut's ads run under Google's reseller exception with landing-page disclosure.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Can we market entirely under our ISO brand, without referencing Square - a fully white-labeled solution?
No - onboarding and portal are white-label, but Square is the merchant-facing POS brand; you're reselling Square, not rebranding it.
Source: OrderOut (official)
All of this can be white-labeled?
The merchant onboarding flow and the Reseller Portal are white-labeled to your organization (name, logo, agent, accent color); the Square product itself remains Square-branded.
Source: OrderOut (official)
Can a sub-ISO have its own branding in the portal?
Yes. Each reseller and sub-ISO gets its own fully branded, white-label onboarding links: the merchant-facing onboarding shows the reseller's or ISO's name, logo, and colors, with no OrderOut branding.
